Lucy |
"While there's no cure for old age, easing the process of passage is a valuable thing. Lucy was in end-stage kidney failure, and Dr. Mills was able to make her significantly more comfortable in her final weeks. I was so grateful to see how acupuncture eased her pain and even improved her appetite! I've had other cats I've had treated with acupuncture, and especially after seeing one whose inflamation of the face cleared up literally as I watched, it has made me a firm believer in the efficacy and value of TCVM. Will I use it again? Yes! Will I recommend it to others? Yes! If you have an ailing animal, try it - your pets will thank you!"

"Zeppelin is our practice's senior cat. He has kidney disease, arthritis, and skin issues. Dr. Mills treats him weekly. After his treatments, he is more mobile, eats better, and generally seems happier."

Kona |
"Kona receives acupuncture for severe neck pain, knee pain, and regurgitation. At 13 years old, she suffers from arthritis in many joints and her back. When Kona was rescued at 2 years of age, she had been hit by a car and fractured her left hip joint. She had an FHO (femoral head ostectomy) which removes the "ball" from the ball and socket joint of her hip. Though she has done well, now, at 13, this has caused her good knee on the right to end up with more arthritis and pain. A pinched nerve in her neck has caused her debilitating pain over the last year. She also has regurgitation, or in chinese medicine "rebellious stomach qi". Dr. Mills treats her on a weekly basis. This keeps her moving well and her quality of life is very good. She is able to go on mile long walks every day which she would not be able to do without her weekly acupuncture!" |
